my passion projects: small business support templates & organization document drafting spreadsheet maintenance crafts & creations cultural commentary

I love learning new skills and helping others

I always said if I could lucratively be a professional student, I would be. There are so many different career pathways in the world, I don’t know how anyone could pick. By the time I finished by Bachelor’s degree, my itch to learn about Public Health had been scratched – but what could possibly be next?

I’ve enjoyed working with folks with disabilities, both physical and developmental, seen and unseen, young and old. Climbing the ranks from Caregiver to Care Coordinator has allowed me to step foot into the administrative realm, and I look forward to what comes next.

While working as Care Coordinator, I helped transform the program. Yes, we grew astronomically, and I could spout about the data of my growing caseload… but my highlight was the support I was able to provide for our operations.

When I started, most of our documents were intended to be completed by hand, with pen & paper. I transformed our systems from slow and painstaking physical writing and USB drive swapping to elegant fillable forms and a Microsoft SharePoint database, where all files could be updated and shared in real time.

I drafted a lengthy COVID reopening plan, and spearheaded an effort to revitalize our program policies and employee handbook.

Any day that I could spend building spreadsheets and file networks to help improve our ability to track and record data was a day I looked forward to.

And I would love to be able to bring that passion into my next chapter, assisting others with their own digital projects.
