About Me

Welcome to my corner of the internet, where passion projects and ideas find their home. I’m not a fan of labels like “professional” because I believe true fulfillment comes from pursuing our passions and challenging the status quo. Here, I share my journey of exploration – void of niches, ranging from my personal, esoteric pursuits, to rants and ravings about things going on in our society.

At heart, I’m a seeker of knowledge and a firm believer in questioning the norms that surround us. My website serves as a collective space for all my diverse interests, where I can freely express my thoughts and share valuable insights with others who resonate with similar ideas.

The lack of separation here between personal belief and career pursuits may be unconventional, but it is intentional. I find work-life balance through firm boundary setting rather than carving out a fraction of myself, building masks and personas for different areas of my life. I find that the separation between work and worker leads to a lack of compassion for the whole individual. I want to deconstruct the idea of the professional robot and bring us back to respecting the value of the whole person.

I’m a whole person, I’m a whole person, I’m a whole person…

With that in mind –

Hello, my name is Becca.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies, with a focus on Community Health Education. I’m a Certified Health Education Specialist. Recognizing the barriers to health that are inherent in our capitalist society, as well as the struggles of disability and poverty, I strive towards realistic, practical and judgement-free shifts towards a better life, whatever that means for you.

I’m a spiritual practitioner, weaving my own practice together with respect and reverence. I’m a tarot reader, utilizing the cards to focus on possibilities and new perspectives – not predictions. Lastly, I hope to encourage practitioners to dig deeper into their craft – to learn, to think critically, to define the why, to create and be creative.
